　　地貌奇特，风光秀丽。凌云山是风光旖旎的旅游胜地。由于多山地质和岩塌地形结合，珍奇独特。我们走进山门登高远眺，只见山势险峻，气势恢宏;钟灵毓秀，原始森林;苍翠欲滴，山峦叠障，奇峰异石;云雾缭绕，九曲连环，深邃通幽，烟雾浩淼。呈现出道家独有的“左青龙、右白虎、前朱雀、后玄武“四大护法的自然景观。青龙山位于左侧、悬岩峭壁，犹如一条巨龙向山中道观朝圣，无数险峰异石貌似大小群龙;白虎山位于右侧，形如一支灵虎盘踞深山丛林，风吹来有虎啸之声;朱雀山犹如大鹏展翅欲飞，大有直摇九霄之势;玄武山形如龟背，位于主峰(又名灵龟山)全山活像一只大型乌龟，龟头龟脚龟尾活灵活现;四山造型独特，形象生动。凌云山以其天然地貌结构，展现了特有美学价值和风光奇观，真是令人神往。

　　三教一山，实属稀罕。凌云山奇异地势与中国风水构成“四相、五行”玄机默合。凌云山的三清宫等属道教文化;白山的佛教寺庙与各种天然睡佛，石刻观音、罗汉属佛教文化;图山的寺庙属儒家文化;三教一山融为一体，长期共处。历史上每年都要拜祭真武祖师，各教教徒对天明志，祈祷风调雨顺，五谷丰登，教派兴隆。凌云山地貌与易经封卦象的四相与道家五行学说融合。尤其是两尊自然天成的睡佛，时隐时现，头枕北、脚朝南;白山睡佛长约二公里，马岩山睡佛长约1.5公里。我们为大自然鬼斧神工造化而感叹。马岩山石窟群雕中只见释迦牟尼，西方三圣、达摩祖师等展现了独特相依的风水奇观。我们登上凌云山顶俯视嘉陵江，只见江水滔滔，白云飘逸，空阔无限，满目葱绿，山峦叠障，林海苍茫。好像进入了人间仙境，让人心旷神怡，留连忘返。

　　精湛雕塑，堪称一绝。我们从白山到凌云山的蜿蜒崎岖路上，在滴水岩、马岩山石窟群中，观看造型各异的石刻，神形兼备、栩栩如生的观音菩萨和罗汉等掩映在丛林与白云之间;在马岩山石刻窟群中有72米长的卧佛;有99米高大石佛，堪称世界佛像之最。还有造型不同的送子观音、滴水观音等32尊，平均6-8米。造型秀雅、玲珑精细、庄端祥和，阿娜多姿，表情含蓄;十八罗汉四大皆空、超脱宁静、面态慈祥，妙趣横生。能工巧匠们选材之精，设计高超，技巧娴熟，独具匠心雕刻技术已达到了炉火纯青的高超境界，可称“雕塑之最”。凸现出了石刻艺术之无限魅力，堪称一绝。这使我们领略了佛光、圣灯、云海，瑞象与宗教艺文化术之神圣，大自然天成之神奇。
